The investment reinforces confidence in the future of British steelmaking, with Cardiff’s low-carbon steel production set to play a key role in delivering the UK’s housing and infrastructure ambitions.

7 Steel UK has been named Supplier of the Year for its innovative reinforcement solutions on the HS2 Green Tunnels project. Delivering over 50,000 tonnes of prefabricated steel, the team helped save more than £10 million and cut programme timelines by up to 18 months.
